Threshold Hanukkah
Concept
Celebrating the Festival of Lights, this Hanukkah collection brought elevated looks for a more formal development using beaded and embroidered elements, gold embellishments, and natural materials.
Responsibilities included overseeing the project with the associate designer while working with the Trend team to build out a portfolio that reflected the concept and could be incorporated in trend development.
Additionally, I worked with the company’s Jewish Business Council to align on all icons and typography to ensure cultural accuracy and appeal. I utilized guest insights to assure we addressed any feedback from prior developments. I also partnered with a team member from the food & beverage team to utilize her family’s multi-generational latke recipe for a unique and specialized tea towel that families could share and bring to life in their own homes.
Artwork was illustrated with gouache.
Production
Partnering with product, I assisted in building a portfolio unique across multiple categories including developing artwork for menorah dove design, stages of lighting of the menorah and latke recipe tea towels and creating menorah artwork for kids hanging option.
