Threshold Spring/ Easter Citrine
Concept
Inspired by the greenery of spring, the Citrine collection brings together washed hues of green and citrines paired with neutrals. The portfolio is brought to life with a focus on botanicals and block-like prints. An additional Easter layer was created to bring in elements of whimsy in the iconic bunny and garden botanicals.
Responsibilities for this project included collaboration with Trend team to develop a portfolio of artwork that translated to developed concept, including working closely to develop a palette and color direction through the use of artwork and shared colorways. To tell this story, I worked closely with Concept to build out a brand space showing how pattern could be translated into product form.
Artwork was inspired by the layering of block-print designs in a variety of botanicals. To create artwork, I utilized clipping mask, gouache, watercolor, and marker.
Production
Product Designers translated artwork into printed and woven products across mulitple categories including pillows, fragrance, tabletop, and bedding.
Concept
Being the holiday of the season, Easter was layered onto existing pattern from Spring to create a thoughtfully built out collection. The Easter Bunny becomes the star of the show during this season, layered in with fresh botanicals.
Responsibilities for this project included collaboration with Trend team to provide a portfolio of Easter seasonal artwork that could layer with exisiting Spring development of Citrine concept. Trend and I then partnered for them to utilize artwork created in product mock ups in concept release to product teams as well as partner to hand paint items in brand room to translate and inspire product development.
Artwork was inspired by folk inspired bunnies and hand painted botanicals that gave a elevated whimsical look to the existing collection.
Production
Product design translated artwork into printed and embellished designs across various categories. Tabletop was the key category along with pillows, bath and fragrance.
